AFAIRS IN SRI LANKA

The Great India Education Fair – TGIEF has been organised in 2010 & 2011. It is the largest education fair on ‘Studying in India’ organised in Sri Lanka, every year.

TGIEF has been supported by High Commission of India in Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, Indo -Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Hutch.

The fair was inaugurated by H.E. Ashok K Kantha, Hon’ble High Commissioner of India in Sri Lanka. Around 80 institutions comprising of finest Universities, Colleges & Boarding Schools from India participated at the event. The three day exhibition attracted more than 6000 visitors comprising of Local students & parents, NRI’s and PIO’s.

TGIEF very well catered to the academic concerns of students by providing them relevant information and an opportunity to learn more about India’s most legendary International School, Universities & Colleges..
