AFAIRS IN BHUTAN

The Great India Education Fair – TGIEF, is the largest annual education fair on ‘Studying in India’ and has been organised for the last 8 consecutive years, since 2007. The fair has been organised in association with EAZ Consultancy, Bhutan and is being supported by Ministry of Education, Department of Adult & Higher Education – Royal Government of Bhutan.

The fair has been well attended by the leading Indian Education Institutions with the purpose to provide information about the education opportunities in India.

The 8th edition of TGIEF was organised in Bhutan on 15th & 16th March ’14 at YDF Hall in Bhutan. The fair was inaugurated by H.E. Shri V P Haran, Ambassador Of India to Bhutan.

Around 120 institutions comprising of finest Universities, Colleges & Boarding Schools from India participated at the event in Bhutan. The two day event attracted more than 6000 students seeking information in studying In India. Various seminars and career counselling sessions were organised for the students in order to provide an insight of the opportunities in Indian education.
