Moving to The Future
The AFAIRS Group is currently implementing a seven-year strategy, initiated in 2006. The strategy is known as “Global Knowledge Exchange” and aims to rebuild the company and revitalize the AFAIRS brand as a synonym for thematic & effective educational events and exhibitions.
The strategy for the years up to 2012 underlines the continued importance of focusing on high quality education industry specific events with high profitability within the organization. The second phase of the strategy from 2009 to 2011 will be devoted to building a profitable and sustainable core platform which can provide a basis for growth to start in 2012.
The three Group priorities in the second phase are:
• Organizing Exhibitions in all the important cities in Asia and Africa.
• Improving exhibition portfolio profitability
• Preparing for growth
Currently, AFAIRS has its prominent presence in Pan India, Nepal, Bhutan and Thailand. Reaching to the SAARC countries along with major destinations of ASIA is all set to target in 2009 – 2011.
